While most dog lovers love all dogs, we’d be lying if we said that we didn’t secretly (or in some cases, not so secretly) have a favorite. It’s not that we are selective, but it’s just that certain dog breeds pull at our heartstrings a little bit more than others. With our favorite breed often comes stereotypes, and certain characteristics that many owners hold true. To have a little fun, we’ve come up with a list of some popular dog breeds–so now you can see what your favorite dog breed says about you!

World's Tallest Dog - Meet The Record Breakers - Guinness World Records

Whether its a person or an animal who dies after you’ve spent a lot of time together, it’s always heartbreaking–this was the case with this beautiful Great Dane from Michigan, Zeus. He won the “tallest dog in the world” title in the Guinness Book of Records in 2012. Zeus, the powerful black Great Dane with a shiny coat, lived for 5 beautiful years. Zeus passed away in September 2014, but is remembered for his loving nature and huge heart.  He was the winner of  the title of “the tallest dog in the world” and is featured in the Guinness Book of World Records. He weighed 165 pounds, and ate 15 pounds of food every week. He was a whopping 44 inches tall and towered over his owner, Kevin Doorlag. 63-year-old KC woman says 2 dogs attacked her, killed her Yorkie on nightly walk

KANSAS CITY, Mo. --  A 63-year-old woman says two nights ago her neighbor's two dogs attacked her and her beloved Yorkie, and killed her four-legged friend. “He was my baby. He was my heart. He was just so adorable. He was loved by everyone in our neighborhood," Rose Contreras said about her beloved Yorkie Terrier, Champ. For the last five years, the pair inseparable. “He was my little baby. He was grand-dog. He wasn’t just a dog, a pet,” Contreras said Thursday during an exclusive interview with FOX4’s Robert Townsend.
