SCARS, a rescue organization, comes across them all the time. They’ve rescued more than 25 kittens within just one month. One of the SCARS volunteers has a rescue dog named Aragon. They would take Aragon for walks near the mountains, where many pets – kittens, puppies, bunnies, birds – were abandoned in cardboard boxes. He won the “tallest dog in the world” title in the Guinness Book of Records in 2012. Zeus, the powerful black Great Dane with a shiny coat, lived for 5 beautiful years.
