Having dogs put to sleep at shelters is not something anyone wants to do. It’s even worse when the dogs comes in with puppies of her own. But it can be difficult to maintain a shelter when the numbers start becoming more than anyone can handle. One such dog was brought in with her two six-month old puppies and were placed on the euthanasia list. No one knew what else they could do. Until a stroke of luck had the dog removed from the list when she served as a surrogate mother for six other puppies that had been recently rescued. The shelter found an email about a man who was threatening to drown nine pit bull puppies that he had if someone didn’t come to take them. Well, one English teacher in Austin, Texas brings his dog to work with him every single day, much to the delight of his high school students. Banjo the corgi is super-cute and joins his owner Kenneth Snyder in the classroom daily, where we’re guessing he’s pretty popular. Banjo gained a national audience in March when social media manager Sophie Vershbow, a friend of Snyder’s girlfriend,  tweeted out a photo of the dynamic duo: “My friend’s boyfriend is an AP English teacher in Austin.
