Dog Star Rescue, based in Connecticut, specializes in pulling heartworm positive dogs from South Carolina, getting them better and then giving them a second chance, and that’s exactly what they decided to do for sweet Cesara. She was soon transported to the Northeast, where the rescue set about trying to find the perfect home for her.
